A mercenary, Jayne works for Mal because he's the one who can pay him most. He's loyal, at least till something better comes along. Crude, thuggish, but with a sense of humour, and a great fighter with a well-hidden human side.
It's funny, Jayne is an asshole to my favourite character, and overall not a very nice guy, but he ends up being lovable anyway. Again, done in OpenCanvas on one layer, with reference.
Even when he's being an asshole, he's my favorite character. Rock on.

Very well hidden human side. So well hidden, in fact, many may doubt it altogether
This is... just... stunning. It's one of the most realistic Firefly peices of artwork I've come across, it's just Jayne all over, perfectly, down to the hairs on the back of his neck. Stunning work.

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
