I asked Aubrey for suggestions on what to draw -- one of them was Molokov and Walter with guns. And I came randomly upon some Spy Vs Spy stuff, and the idea for this was born.
I've been meaning to draw it for days, but my computer has decided it just does not like my tablet, so I've had to steal dad's laptop to draw on.
To Christy: Some of us like copy-paste and flip! It makes things so much quicker!
Molokov is a pain to get right, and so is Walter's hair. It's like, I imagine Molokov as both this guy [link] and this guy [link] And they don't mix well. Walter is much easier. But I think I have Molly figured out.
The black/white thing works very well with Chess though.
Ooh, I love it with them back to back, and everything contrasting... Too bad you had to add that one patch of brown hair on the white-suited spy. It almost takes away from the whole effect...maybe they could have hats.
Well, he HAS brown hair, see. I almost considered giving him randomly white-blonde hair, but no. Doesn't work. And... I just.. can't see them with hats. I considered it, since Spy Vs Spy had hats, but... no. I weighed in-character-ness against artisticness, and this time in-character-ness won.
