Okay, so in short. I'm going to my cabin on Monday, where I'll most likely stay a week, unless the weather's too sucky, so I won't be online for a while, and I won't get any art done (I've become rather hostile to drawing without my computer lately)... But, I'll try to get _something_ done before I leave, and get back to work once I return.

I haven't stopped drawing again, I just get distracted and start other things before finishing the first one... I have so many things in the works right now. Yes, I know, I'm hopeless. The only thing I've actually finished is this silly animation: [link] ... Which by the way inspired me to do more animation.

I rather doubt I'll finish all of these (3 of them have been WIP in over half a year...), but, there you are.

Well... Okay. So, first off, some general thoughts on the newest HP book (spoiler-free):

It was... intense. Quite definitely OMGBRILLIANT. You know. So emotional. And the wonderful thing is that I wasn't spoiled AT ALL. Everything was new to me, which made it just... brilliant. I was spoiled about the ending of OotP, and I'm so happy that didn't happen with this one. Really, just... I was sobbing my way through half of the last 4 chapters, and I don't really often cry during books or stories or movies or things like that. But I definitely did on this one. I didn't just cry, I sobbed, and gasped and... laughed of course, and cheered, and squeed and... Wow.

The story's just so grown up all of a sudden. It's much darker than I expected, even though I knew it was going to be. I would so not call this a book for kids anymore. The first book, yeah, sure, but not this one. And I love that. But it's still got all this fun points in it. And... You get to know so much in this one. Questions are actually answered. And it's brilliant. Just... omg, if you haven't read it, then do.


Allright. Next, some pimpin'. Which I never do usually, unless it's for friends, but this thing deserves pimping. The Shoebox Project. The most bloody brilliant fanfic there is out there. It's written in such an awesome way that it's just a joy to read. Only fic I've bothered paying attention to for this long (almost a year now) and I still get hyperly over-excited at every update. It's wonderful, really. If you're looking for a good HP fic, don't go there. If you're looking for a brilliant HP fic, go there right away. Even if you're not looking. Just go there.

I've only read one and a half chapter. During the first chapter, I laughed aloud, I squeed, I bounced my feet ALL the time, I cried, yes, I cried, during the first chapter, I paced, I hyperventilated, I tried taking deep steading breaths and failed.

I am... ecstatic. Times a frillion. Now I need to go continue reading.

Well. Happy Norwegian day of constitution and national day and whatnot! Even if I didn't get to say it until now! I know there's at least one of you people watching me who's Norwegian. (*vinker til Linn i tilfelle du leser dette*) Well. Not counting people I know in RL that is. (*vinker til Line og David*)

Anyway. We had brilliant weather down here in Horten. Extremely sunny all day, a bit wind, but warm enough to wear a sleeveless dress, which I just happened to be doing. And then, right now, the next day, 11:30 in the morning, it hails. It seriously hails. My balcony is seriously half covered in whiteness. The weather here astounds me sometimes.

Well, that's all I guess. I need to go do my homework now. *coffcoff* I told AK I was done when I really wasn't, so I need to hurry up and do it before she finds out. *hurries off to transcribe that stupid interview*

Hah, well, I'm 18, maybe I should go out and get drunk or something. XD I rather doubt that though. I've always said that when I turn 18, I won't start drinking or smoking, I'll start shopping on Amazon. x)

I may be going to a barbeque parteh later, with *Dipliner... One of my previously mentioned 3 best friends. X3 And then I'll throw a party (though that expression is pushing it a rather large bit) later sometime. We'll see. But for right now, I will watch episodes of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie". Allright. The only reason I'm writing this journal is to rant and rage. Feel free to ignore. Feel free to sympethize, as well. A bit bad language in the rant here, and far less over-capitalisation than I expected. Far less emoticons and smileys as well.


Allright. So, the day started out well enough. Went to school, had a rather boring Norwegian class. Then I went to the cantina, and bought myself a coke. Everything's okay. Then we have a test in English. That I didn't know about. No, that's not why I'm pissed. It was a damn easy test. We could use a dictionary, and I didn't even need it. Anyway. I go down to the computer lab after I finish the test. Answer all the posts in the rpg, so I don't have to worry any more about that.

Then I go up to the classroom again. And here's the fun part. My wallet's gone. I look for it, ask around if anyone's seen it, a few people help me look for it, we look for it in the cantina, we go to the school office and ask if they've gotten one turned in. Nothing. We search the classroom again. Nothing.

Then we have drawing class. 4 periods of drawing class.  4 periods of drawing class with the teacher I like to call Daughter of Satan. No, actually, I don't, but it's the nicest thing I can think of right now. Anyway. She starts bitching me about not having done my homework, the she starts bitching me about disturbing the class, then she bitches me alot about disctracting others who actually want to work. Fine, I didn't want to work. Guess why? I bloody can't work when she's around. Her voice makes me want to slam my head against a wall. And I can't leave either, because the number of times I've been absent is nearing the point where it means I won't graduate this year. A bloody damn don't want that, now do I?

Anyway. Back to the wallet. I don't have any money for the bus, so I have to walk home. Then I remember; my key is in my wallet. Fuck. Yeah. So I'm locked out. Allright. What was in my wallet: 80 kr (not too much, it can be replaced, but it's enough to make me angry just for that), my bank card, my student id, my buscard, my library card, pictures of my friends, and, yes, my key. This is the point where I can't help myself, and I break down crying. Something I haven't done in months. I sit there, on the stairs, crying. At least no one could see me where I was sitting.

After crying for 10 minutes or so, I don't know, I didn't have a watch, I didn't have my cell phone, so I couldn't call anyone either. Anyway, I went down to Lisa, one of my best friends and my neighbour. I ask her if I can borrow the phone, and she says of course, and why? I start explaining, and at the same time, I also start crying again. I sort of half cry for 10 more minutes, then I call dad and ask him to come home and unlock the door for me, and he says he'll come as soon as he can. I cry half cry for 10 more minutes after that, then 10 minutes after that, dad gets home, I can get in, and I go to my room, because naturally, I'm in a shitty mood. So, I cry some more.

Now I've got a headache because I've been crying so much. Dad's out changing the lock, because, after all, my key was in my wallet, and so was my name. Not exactly safe. At least now ~BohemiaLMM is logged on, and I'm talking with her, so she's managing to cheer me up. After she leaves for school I'll probably either go to sleep off my headache, or play some World of Warcraft. Even though I should be studying.

Oh, yeah, I almost forgot about that. As if this wasn't enough, here's some more for you. My term exam in drawing is tomorrow, and I haven't prepared a shit yet, so I need to go do that. I got a mark for not turning in a Norwegian essay today. I failed on an assignment because I'd forgotten it at home. Yes, evil of teacher of doom was the one that failed me. Then, while I was walking home, two parts of my tooth fell out. This is not news to me; it has happened before. But is still not any less worrying, and I really need to go to the dentist soon.

Right. I think I'm done.

I finally got the time to post a new journal. I've been busy, away or simply too tired.

I've spent the last 3 days at 3 different places, and I've had a great time, pretty much all the time.
