Hello person who decided to take my art and use it in a Broadway Secret without my permission. Tbh, I do not appreciate it. It's mine. I drew it. Don't go reposting it without asking me, even if you didn't claim it was yours. You didn't say it wasn't, either.

It wasn't a very serious case, so I'm not really angry about it. Annoyed, but. This spurred some wanting to clear up a few things from my side.

For anyone wanting to go around reposting my drawings. This is okay on a few conditions.
1) Ask first, and tell me where you intend to post it. (And wait for my approval.)
2) Make it clear that I drew it.
3) Link back to my page, either here or my LiveJournal.
4) If the drawing in question doesn't have a copyright mark on it yet, tell me and let me put one there.
5) No hotlinking -- use your own bandwidth, please.

The same goes for iconing or using for layouts or whatever. It's fine with me (in fact I appreciate it -- it lets me know that people like my drawings). You don't have to tell me if you're using it for icons, as long as you credit me, preferably with "Harbek" (googling for Harbek will bring up my sites right away).

I do like to be told though, mainly cause I like seeing them. =P  Archiving is fine, as long as it has a copyright mark on it. I have yet to go through every single drawing and put copyright marks, but I have with most of them.

Also, I'm not a bitch, really. I'm a very nice person, and I hardly ever get angry. If you want to use my drawings for something, just ASK, preferably politely (and with proper spelling/grammar).  I'll probably say yes anyway.

Also, again, I'm sorry for not answering all comments. I do if I have anything interesting to reply with. That said, I appreciate and read every single one. You're the reason I post everything. I love you all, and thank you so much! I'm not exactly the most popular artist on the web, so the fans that I do have make me very happy. Thank you all. ^^

it isn't your art, though. You are stealing as well. You draw everything from photos and you don't write you used them. Admit it, say sorry and paste links, otherwise you'll be banned.

It is my art considering I spent hours slaving over all of them. First of all, I don't draw everything directly from photos. Just because you find one or two which are that much similar to the reference photo (like Lick, which yes, is heavily referenced, but drawn by hand). It's however very hard to give credit for a lot of these, when some of them are pictures people have sent me, and others are from books, and suchlike. I have written MANY times on DA before that I use references (up to 6 pictures for each drawing sometimes), and I don't have enough time to spend on DeviantArt, digging up every single reference and linking to it, I'm sorry. The Lick drawing for one, used to have a link, but it was deleted from the place I linked to, and I didn't know where to find it again. Maybe when I have time I can go around specifying what I use, but I have rather a lot to do, so I can't promise it'll be done right away.

You should still write you used a photo reference, without it people can take it for theft, like me. One, two or maybe ten, I have found more than you think. You also write you have written many times - but I don't see it now. Write it somewhere, in the journal maybe.

I'll try to remember it when I upload new drawings (like right now). Writing it in my journal isn't very good, since I do update my journal every now and then (even if it's only every other month), but when I find the time, I can add a note about it to the drawings in question.
